Steady when Shaken

Our lives are constantly changing. Friends are moving, relationships are ending,new ones are starting, we are planning vacations, moves, there are natural disasters, job loss,disease, death. Much of this is due to outside circumstances. However, some is self-Imposed. We change our careers for something more challenging, something that will provide us more happiness. Our clothes wear out, and we buy new ones.We gain a few pounds over the holidays, we take an exercise class to lose a few. Our hair starts to lighten, we color it. Tired of straight hair, we get a permanent.

But there is one thing in this world that is more permanent than a permanent. Jesus Christ.No matter what changes are happening in our lives we can rest assured that He remains the same--yesterday, today and forever. We can look to Him for guidance, peace of mind, reassurance. Jesus is our rock. He is always there, even if we don't always know it. Take the time to listen. He's there, waiting to strengthen us and give us the relief we crave. No matter how bad the world looks, the severity of the crisis, we do not have to worry. God's words--the anchor of our spirits, that which gives us peace beyond understanding will remain forever.

I am so thankful for the experiences we had over the holidays. What more can a woman say to the man who opened his heart to her, allowing herto feel the warmth of his love across the great distance that separates them? You truly have no idea what I feel for you.

Sitting in my office, I reflect on all that we are. I am so very thankful to you for unlocking a piece of me that most people have not seen, and loving each and every part of me. This love is so appreciated, and so respected. I only hope you will someday know exactly how I feel about you :)

I try to put this feeling into words, but fail miserably. The sound of your voice, brings me the same joy and feeling in my heart as listening to the Matthew West song and sorting through memories. I've grown so fond of you in so many ways... ways that probably would have never been if we didn't have a long distance relationship. I appreciate all the little things about you, things that others might take for granted.

This feeling of being both scared and at peace, of having both butterflies and a sense of calm, is a feeling that I have only dreamed about. It's truly amazing and I wouldnt trade it for anything in the world. It gives me a sense of power and strength. As the days continue to pass, my love for you continues to grow. I never thought I had the capacity to love anybody as much as I love you right now. Yet, my love for you continues to mature, growing beyond the realm of my heart. You have unlocked areas of my heart that I never knew exisited Mike, and for that I am truly thankful. You are such a blessing to me, and I thank God so often for bringing you into my life. It seems that you have become the fiber of my very soul.

Thank you for being so open, honest, loving and Godly. I look forward to all that is to come in our relationship, and more importantly am completely enjoying the right now. God has blessed us in so many ways, and I am so thrilled to be able to have you as the person that I can demonstrate God's love to on a daily basis, and to be the person that we can show the rest of the world that to as well.

Love and Forgiveness
Do you have a clue?
To make everything right
Forgiveness is due.
To forgive is to Love,
And Love scares the heart.
That means you might feel
What's been real from the start.

God says that our relationships
Are why were here on Earth.
It's what makes us whole.
Love mends the soul
When it's full of pain and hurt.

When a person gives up
Tired of fighting the fight
We lose our concentration
About doing things right.
Put someone else first
Walk a mile in their shoes
Should you judge or criticize
It's not fair for you to do.

For God is the only one to tell
How Jesus died for you.
To bear your sins
And let God win
Faith will be restored to you.
You see,
The whole point of Life
To live on this Earth
Is to Love another person
It's true.
To give of yourself
You'll know what to do
Gods words are the answer
He knows about you.

All of your sins are forgiveable you see
That's why God so asked his son to be
The Worlds Greatest Symbol
For all mankind to believe.
That would mean there would be a day
When God will want all mankind to pray
To ask for strength
When you are in your day.

When you must choose between good and bad
When you look back on the life that you've had
When the future holds something different for you
Ask for Gods help, he'll give you a clue.

Hold out the judgment, Don't judge them all life
When you ask for Gods help to know what to do
